Krypto Fighters: A Turn-based Fight with All Your Might

Despite the advancement of technology, the turn-based strategy genre which has its roots in board games continues to be a thriving niche business. With this type of gameplay, players can concentrate on thoroughly analyzing a scenario and selecting the appropriate course of action to take. In response to that, Kypto Fighter is striving to introduce a completely new turn-based experience in the Metaverse. Does it have a chance in this TB Market?

What is Krypto Fighter?

Krypto Fighter is a Polygon-powered NFT Turn-based Fighting game that emphasizes strategy. Players will be able to engage in combat utilizing various NFT Characters that may be bought from the marketplace or OpenSea. The alpha test is currently accessible; however, the official launch won't happen until Q4 2022 or Q1 2023. Playable just in browsers, although it would be nice to see a mobile version added in the future for accessibility.

After your characters have advanced to level 10 and using its Coaching system, a new Krypto Fighter will be created. This system is comparable to Cyball's, where you can mentor a new generation of NFT players by paying a specific sum.

Tokenomics and Earnings

There are currently three tokens available. $KF (governance), $JAB (utility and play-to-earn reward), and $Grit (off-chain token for in-game items and utility). The only currency accepted for transaction fees is $KF. This tri-token system is a little different from other P2E games that use something similar. Here you have two tradable currencies in addition to one in-game currency, which raises the question of whether this model will be able to maintain a stable economy.

In KF, there are several ways to make money. The primary prize for successfully completing missions, PvE, PvP, and minigames will be $JAB. These are adequate for beginners, but I believe you can also make use of the coaching feature by selling newly coached/created NFTs.

Gameplay

Darkest Dungeons, Legend of Keepers, and Deep Sky Derelicts, among other turn-based strategy fighting games from the past are brought back to life in Krypto Fighter. 4 combatants will be led by players to engage in combat. These warriors will attack in order, similar to Axie Infinity, with each Fighter having unique skills and roles within the team. I realized that the game takes a while to finish; it would be better if the characters could execute their moves faster to shorten the length of a match. The goal is simple: survive and defeat the enemy fighters. The Willpower feature is what makes the game more unique. The strength of what your heroes can do is based on their willpower. Your fighter will enter a state of exhaustion if its willpower reaches zero, rendering the character extremely vulnerable to attacks while reducing its damage.

NFTs are offered to help players improve their performance, things like cars, potions, and land. That much is obvious from those words alone. The Land is the main focus since it functions similarly to Land in other Web3 games. It can house characters or be turned into an establishment, which improves your income potential in the long term.

If I were to sum up the graphics, I'd say that the game has a pixel-art look that transports you to the 1990s and makes you reminisce.  The character and scenery design are both excellent, although the sound is a tad brittle. Many problems need to be fixed, therefore developers must correctly clean this up. However, the UI is simple to use, so even beginners might easily get used to it.

Conclusion

Krypto Fighter is a fun turn-based action game. In terms of the necessity for strategy, they succeed. Other than the sound problems, there are no longer any noticeable issues; we'll just have to wait for updates. Additionally, let's hope the EARN is sufficient. I only hope that it will have a mobile version in the future for the benefit of other gamers. All things considered; I think Krypto Fighter has a chance to become a staple in the P2E industry.
