Earn By Playing Mini Games in Arc8

You've probably heard that the best things come in small packages. You will be pleasantly astonished by the amount of fun that is packed inside this collection of little games, which is comparable to a miniature car full of clowns. These components were modified for Arc8 and incorporated into the blockchain.  Can it develop into an effective web3 platform for mini games?

What is Arc8?

In October 2021, GAMEE introduced Arc8, a play-to-earn game arcade. Featuring a variety of 1v1 and tournament-based minigames accessible through its application. This gives mobile gamers some power since the game is exclusive to mobile devices, and downloadable through your app store of choice. It’s also free to play which makes it that much more interesting.

Tokenomics and Earnings

The two in-game currencies in Arc8 are $GMEE and Credits. While Credits are used for free practice games, $GMEE is similar to the governance used for in-game awards and functions. However, if you've accumulated enough Credit, you'll be able to take part in tournaments. The best part about $GMEE is how flexible the conversion is because of its ability to be traded on different networks. My main option is Polygon, which I appreciate because gas prices are low.

Due to the daily quests, they recently added, anyone can earn $GMEE by playing minigames even without spending a single penny. Additionally, you are eligible to win draw prizes when you’ve accumulated enough tickets from playing. This was enough to convince me to download and try Arc8. $GMEE allotment is required to earn more tokens because it will be used as the game registration fee, which turns into a sizable prize pool.

Gameplay

Arc8 has no specific gameplay structure. Instead, the type of mini-games that players wish to engage in and compete in is up to them. They remind me of easy-to-play video games that were hugely popular after the 2010s, such as Solitaire, Subway Surfer, Candy Crush, etc. All of them are very simple with straightforward directions in each because they lack any complicated mechanisms.

Currently, there are 12 games available, all of them under five minutes long. Most of these games will be familiar to you because they are classics. I'll start with one of my personal favorites, Pixel Dungeon, in which you roll a cube through a dangerous dungeon. Essentially Solitaire with a pirate theme, Pirate Solitaire. To Globo Run which is an obstacle-avoiding "dash" game, and a top-down dash-style game called Marble Dash. Despite having rather straightforward gameplay concepts, I enjoy how wonderfully these games run.

Conclusion

Arc8, while free-to-play, also offers all-you-can-play features which I greatly appreciate. The games remind you of playing simple games back in the day. It can be played even while you're on the road or waiting for a date, making it your go-to platform for passing the time. The platform doesn't have any drawbacks. While the games are simple in design, they are perfect for the short play sessions they provide. I’m interested in seeing what other mini-games Arc8 will have to offer in the future.
