An NFT Farming Game - Town Star

You're probably familiar with the game "Farmville" if you were born between 1980 and 2004. Expanding the size of your farm and investing hours into the game to complete your goals. Whatever the motivation for playing—leisure or fun—that game was intriguing. It started on Facebook, and now its developers have also made a brand-new NFT game named "Town Star." Will it be possible to transport you to a different traditional game farming experience?

What is Town star?

Town Star is an Ethereum Network-based NFT simulation of the agricultural game that was initially released in March 2020. Powered by Gala, a well-known platform with which Zynga-Farmville creators have a partnership. Any updated computer can run it and be played on a browser.

Since it is a free-to-play game, a player won't have any trouble getting started. There is no need to allocate money and then lose it. Playing it myself, it simply prompted me to register with my email address before letting me select my preferred region and geography. Since the game was based on actual nations, picking the place was enjoyable; I chose my country. Once you've finished, you may give your town a name and begin playing.

Tokenomics and Earnings

The primary token is $TOWN. Due to GALA's effect on blockchain technology, it is accessible on several trading platforms. Three prerequisites must be met to earn in this game. First, you’ll need to buy some $GALA OR $TOWN and store it in your game’s wallet. After that, purchase a season pass, and 1 NFT product. Once you have it all, you’ll be able to start earning $TOWN.

Gameplay and Mechanics

Farmville is similar to this, although Gala Games made several improvements on the project. Having to start small and progressively create the best town. You only have one choice if you start with a single field of crops: to profit from them. It’s very efficient and economical for the development of your town if you understand your location. By utilizing it, you can receive automatic refill of resources and adjust the structure for growth.

The primary resources are crops, water, wood, oil, and energy. One of the goals to accomplish is acquiring the tools necessary to consistently acquire these resources. Do a thorough job of observing your employees (laborers, ranchers, farmers, and researchers). With the exception of lumberjacks, everyone else will cease working if they aren't given a job, which will negatively affect the town's capacity for growth and production.

There’s also a leaderboard and taking first place is a lucrative way to earn $TOWN. If you're not competitive you can simply continue at your own pace casually. After playing, I can claim that it differs significantly from Farmville because you must develop a failsafe plan. That’s why restarting, and retrying will help you discover the best course of action.

Conclusion

Farm games are undoubtedly pleasant and peaceful. I've grown to enjoy the agriculture game Town Star. One can become intrigued by its features and begin looking at ways to improve your Town. It's not the typical "purchase NFT and play," it's a challenge for you to excel and start making money. Town Star has a more difficult road towards a thriving town than Farmville, where I can just click without worrying. The drawback is that, despite being free to play, there are requirements before you can start earning. Although I’m not a fan of farming games, but I definitely recommend it to everyone who loves games like this.
