Oath of Peak is a free-to-play fantasy Xianxia MMORPG that immerses players in an extraordinary oriental world set in Polygon Chain. Upon installation, players can create their own characters for free, and in-game purchases are backed by $PKTK (utility and reward) and governed by $OOP tokens. The game launched officially in January 2023 and is now available on Android and Apple mobile devices.

Gameplay

Players are presented with five different classes to choose from: tank, healer, assassin, fighter, and mage. Players will find themselves in a world of Wuxia, a land filled with numerous monsters to battle, quests to complete, spirit beasts to tame, and other players to interact with. The game features both single-player and multiplayer content. As an open world RPG, players will have full control over their character's movements, abilities, and equipment. The ultimate goal of the game is to have fun and earn rewards as you progress through the game's various challenges and adventures.

Overall Thoughts

Playing Oath of Peak brings to mind games like Genshin Impact, with its vast world to explore, engaging storylines, and opportunities to improve your skills. What I find most appealing about this Fantasia game is its multiplayer content. Players can team up with friends or other players to fight against the environment or engage in PvP and Guild vs. Guild battles. However, the controls can be overwhelming, especially on mobile devices.

The artwork in Oath of Peak is cool and visually stunning, though the character designs seem a bit weak. Nonetheless, I was excited about the Date A Live crossover event, which is one of my favorite anime series. Many players also enjoy the game, but some have commented on the empty feeling of the game's environment, which lacks nature's intricate details such as trees, grass, and other variables.

Yeeha Games, the developer behind Oath of Peak, has a solid reputation in the metaverse, and with hundreds of thousands of downloads, the game has amassed a good user base. The company is followed by prominent projects like Earn Alliance and Real Player DAO, demonstrating its influence in the industry.

While Oath of Peak requires players to have an NFT character/spirit beast and utility token to earn rewards, the game is worth the investment of time and money. It's a brand new MMORPG with plenty of potential and a diverse range of features in its arsenal. Although I believe that Genshin Impact is still the better RPG, Oath of Peak is still a great game worth considering.
